Paige McGhee - Manager

Paige has been working for HHHunt in property management for fifteen years and has been the manager at West Wind for the last five years. Paige is a graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in history with minors in mathematics and chemistry. She is a Virginia native and grew up in southwest Virginia. Paige's career choice has been very rewarding since she has had the opportunity to meet so many great people.

During her career in property management, Paige had the opportunity to serve on the Board of the New River Valley Apartment Council (NRVAC) while working in the Blacksburg area. Since working in Reanoke, she has been active on the Board of the Roanoke Valley Apartment Association (RVAA) as President in 2009 and 2010. Most recently Paige serves the Board as the Roanoke Valley Apartment Association (RVAA) representative for the Virginia Apartment Management Association (VAMA) based in Richmond. Paige has received the designation of Certified Apartment Manager from the National Apartment Association (NAA). In her free time, Paige enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Hazel Williams - Accounts Administrator/Leasing

Hazel is the newest member to the team at WestWind Apartment Homes. She is a graduate of Virginia Western Community College and Averett University. She has a degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Her working career consists of positions with several local and state wide Certified Public Accounting firms. She joins our team ready to learn and work in an industry that is totally new to her. She is very happy with the transition to her new career. Hazel is married to Walter and is a mother of one son, Stuart. She has two beautiful grand daughters, Jayla and Sha'kira. To help manage her stress, Hazel enjoys trips to the day spa and lots of shopping! She loves connecting with and helping people. Her most rewarding accomplishment was actually spending time as volunteer at Carilion RMH, where she assisted patients who were having surgery and their families.

Brian McDaniel - Leasing Consultant

Brian was born and raised in Roanoke, VA and has been a member of the West Wind team for over eight years. He started his career as a Gate Attendant at the swimming pool. Because of his work ethics and personality, he was immediately hired after the first summer for full time employment. Brian has since elevated himself through various positions in Environmental Services and as a Service Technician. His ability to positively communicate with people and desire to help others led to him being offered a position as a Leasing Consultant in the Welcome Center. Having held several positions at West Wind has helped Brian to better understand prospective, as well as current resident's needs and situations. In his spare time, Brian enjoys cooking, watching movies and sports, and hanging out with his friends.

Laura Brooks – Office Assistant

Laura hails from a little town in the heart of the cornfields of Illinois where she attended Western Illinois University. Laura moved to Minnesota and spent the next 40 years working in such positions as administrative assistant, customer service supervision, general office and clerical positions at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota, 3M Companies, SL Paul Insurance Companies, and the University of Minnesota Office of the Hospital Attorney. Laura semi-retired and moved to the great state of Virginia. Here in Roanoke, Laura worked for the City of Roanoke and Allstate Insurance Company where she was awarded the prestigious Allstate Chairman's award for outstanding service, and other recognition awards. Over the years, she developed an interest in property management, and when the opportunity presented itself to be a part of the West Wind Welcome Center office, she jumped at the chance. Laura's personal life includes church on Sunday mornings, and she also enjoys: grabbing a quick Dairy Queen Mud Slid with extra nuts; or going to the movies; or even getting dressed up to go to a play or a concert; or when the fish are calling her to come and play, she does catch and release fishing; or, she might play a little tennis; or play a little Halo on Xbox (Now that's a novelty!). Laura is adventuresome and loves to travel to different parts of the good ole USA. She particularly enjoys exploring the nature beauties in the Shenandoah and Roanoke Valleys of Virginia. She loves to capture on camera the awesomeness of tile Blue Ridge Mountains.

Billy Judge- Service Manager

Billy has been in the maintenance field for the past 15 years. He joined the WestWind team approximately one year ago. He strives to ensure the residents at WestWind receive prompt and courteous maintenance service. He has achieved his HVAC Certification and is also a CPO (Certified Pool Operator). He enjoys being a resident of the WestWind community and a member of the WestWind team. Spending time with his family is his favorite pastime, especially fishing with his son. Oliver, his Pug, is also an important member of his family.

Linda Cruff- Housekeeper

Linda is a lifelong resident of Virginia. She has been a member of the WestWind team for 22 years. It is evidenced by the length of her tenure at WestWind that she is pleased to be a member of the WestWind team. Because of her work ethics and dedication to providing quality service to the WestWind community, she has received the prestigious Custodian of the Year award multiple years. She plays an important part in potential residents’ first impressions of WestWind by helping to provide a clean and attractive apartment for viewing as well as her many other tasks. She likes helping people and being the best at what she does. She spends her free time enjoying her pets; a boxer named Sadie and a Calico cat named Callie.

Michael (Mike) Jones- Service Technician

Michael first resided in Fredericksburg, VA before transferring to Roanoke. His 10 year military career was served in the US Army. He has worked in the residential maintenance field for the past 15 years and recently joined the WestWind team in 01/11. He has received his HVAC Technician Certification. He strives to complete repair assignments as quickly and efficiently as possible to help reduce any inconveniences for the Westwind community residents. His favorite pastime is spending time with his children.
