Moving Information

In order to help make your move a convenient and stress-free as possible, we are providing the following information:

• All lease paperwork must be signed by all parties prioir to apartment keys being issued.
• Required rent, deposits, and fees must be paid prior to receiving the keys to your new home.
• Electric and gas service must be connected as of the first day of your lease.

• Cable, high-speed internet and phone can be connected by contracting Cox Communications at 540-728-8057.
• Please register any pets prioir to moving into your new home.
• Inform the Post Office of your new address as soon as possible.
• For delivery of local newspaper, contact the Roanoke Times at 540-981-3211.
• The Roanoke City Commissioner of Revenue can be reached at 540-853-2521 for personal property taxes and city decals.
• WestWind strongly recommends that each resident obtain a renter's insurance policy to cover damage to personal property. Contact your current insurance provider for details.
